Lib Press on Full Clown Show Parade & WHY Did Liberal Leaders in CA do This?!

The Libs

In the same week President Donald Trump issued new guidelines to reopen the country running again as the coronavirus pandemic begins to subside, one Democrat-run city spend a lot of taxpayer money to fill in a skate park — to ensure ‘social distancing’ rules were being followed.

Video footage of heavy equipment pushing sand into the skate park went viral online, providing Americans with an object lesson in tyranny.

As some pointed out on social media, there is no logical reason for this act. None.

But to hear local officials tell it, kids on skateboards are “the greatest public-health threat imaginable,” as Republican Sen. Ted Cruz put it in a tweet posted late Saturday killing a skate park with sand — so nobody can use it — is an authoritarian abuse of power,” the Texas Republican notes. That’s certainly true.

It’s also an incredibly wasteful abuse of taxpayer funds which were no doubt used to build the skate park in the first place. If there is a better example of “the government giveth, the government taketh away,” we’d like to see it.

But in places where Democrats rule, there seems to be little or no consideration whatsoever given to civil and constitutional liberties, let alone responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources, as evidenced by decisions to fill in skate parks with sand over ‘muh coronavirus.’

What’s Trump Up To?

One of the biggest Trump hating liberal shows, “Morning Joe,” takes the page right out of the liberal playbook – report the exact opposite if it fits their goal of  hurting Trump.

MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough on Wednesday suggested President Donald Trump is “destroying” his 2020 reelection chances by making himself a part of the daily coronavirus task force press briefings.

Sorry Joe, Trumps ratings have been steadily going up.

Scarborough said Trump is “scaring the hell out of voters” by speaking at the briefings, noting when he said earlier in the week that presidents have “total authority.”

Wrong again Joe, people want information and not the lies you spew.

Clown world for sure.

The Markets

It was a historic day on oil markets.

Oman oil price drops by $1.81 USD amid global economic ...

West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery, a contract expiring Tuesday, fell more than 300% to negative $37.63. It was the first time that crude oil had fallen below zero. Oil has been crushed by Covid-19 disruptions and a price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia.

Energy stocks were also hit hard on Monday with the XLE energy ETF falling by 3%. Ari Wald, head of technical analysis at Oppenheimer, says while the drop wasn’t as steep for energy stocks, the group did reach its own historic low.

“The sector overall [is] really far from bullish. In fact, the energy sector [is] coming off its lowest level since 1931 versus the S&P. That’s a 90-year relative low. So while some stabilization will be both reasonable and welcome, we see more attractive opportunities for funds elsewhere and stay away,” Wald said on CNBC’s “Trading Nation” on Monday.

What in the World??

A Michigan family captured the bittersweet moment a grandfather laid eyes on his newborn granddaughter through a glass window, keeping in line with coronavirus quarantine recommendations.

Josh Gillett from Zeeland, Michigan, welcomed his daughter Elliana Rae in February.

Gillett’s father was bursting with pride and joy over the birth of his first grandchild, and was able to hold the baby twice before coronavirus lockdown changed the way the Gillett family had to interact.

For now, the proud grandfather is content to visit his granddaughter from behind glass — a temporary sacrifice for the healthier future of both grandpa and grandbaby once coronavirus passes.
